Burmese Feast: My last day in Bagan, Myanmar

It was my last day, and I needed to see one more sunrise πŸ™‚

Totally worth it!

My last sunrise…

Bagan, Myanmar

Like I said in my previous post I was “templed out” so there was NO WAY I was going to visit any temples. Obviously, that meant I was going to eat more food,

and man did I eat…

Bagan, Myanmar

The core to every Burmese meal is theΒ rice.Β But the side dishes are the real stars…

I didn’t get individuals shots of the:

  • Potato Chips
  • Pumpkin
  • Eggplant
  • and the Fresh Veggies

There was no way I could eatΒ everything, but I got pretty close πŸ˜‰ I demolished the pumpkin and the green beans, and then they offered to GIVE ME MORE!!

This bottomless feast, with lime juice, cost me a WHOPPING $6 USD.

I left 100% stuffed.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing at the hotel pool, and watching movies πŸ™‚

Before I got on the overnight bus toΒ YangonΒ (catching my flight to GERMANY), I stopped at Weather Spoon’s for a drink and snacks.

The snack wasn’t anything special…

French Fries…

Don’t judge.

But the drink, that was amazing! A Myanmar Mule with FRESH GINGER…

Bagan, Myanmar

What a great way to end my Myanmar Adventure πŸ™‚

Love always, Arianna the Wandering Pipette
