This cupcake was absolutely sublime! I am always a sucker for any recipe containing condensed milk, but truly, this cupcake is delicious.
The frosting with both the marscarpone and the hazelnut cream was probably my favorite part about the cupcake 🙂
I really wanted to add hazelnuts as the topping, but similar to the banana extract I COULDN’T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!! So I went for an excess of shiny sprinkles 🙂

Here is a side note about the recipe…
Personally, I used a squeeze bottle to make both the holes in the cupcake and to release the cream. I also would add cream until the cupcake overflowed, then let it sit in the freezer for a few minutes, then would add more cream. I did this for a couple of cycles, in order to make sure I added as much of the tres leches cream as possible.
