Municipal Market, São Paulo

It wouldn’t be a vacation without a trip to the local market!

In an effort to avoid the crowds we woke up bright and early (about 7am) and headed to the Municipal Market. We got there around 7:30, just as the stand owners were getting ready for a big day of sales. The market may not have been bustling but the Café sure was!

The tables were all full but we were able to snag a few stools at the counter. As a kickoff to our day,

We started with coffee and misto quente…

Then we explored!

Remember that caipirinha from Mocotó?

Well, here is the fruit it is made from, Jabuticaba

Looking for something to do in São Paulo? Head to the Municipal Market, but make sure to get there early!

P.S. IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Turning 25 is a milestone and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead!

Love always, Arianna the Wandering Pipette
