A few years ago I found a DIY article by “Oh So Beautiful Paper” on how to create a STUNNING invitation suite. This article is the reason I chose the “Chloe” Yellow Floral Paper from Antiquaria as my color inspiration for the wedding 🙂
In the article I was OBSESSED with the overall look, not each individual part per se (I’m not a HUGE butterfly fan), but I loved how it all came together! For me, one of the most important pieces was the twine and the tag with the stamped heart.
At the time that I found this article (cough, cough, three years ago, I pinned it to my “Wedding Ideas” Pinterest board on August 22, 2013) Antiquaria sold the “Cross my Heart Monogram Stamp”. When I went to FINALLY buy the stamp, three years and an engagement ring later, Antiquaria was no longer selling the stamp!
I was STUPEPFIED 😉
What was I going to do!?!?!
The next logical option was to….
Design my own stamp!
Step 1: Open Power Point (or if you have skilz, any graphic design program of your choice)
Step 2: Make you image
Hint: First group all the items on your page (Select all, right click, “group”), then right click on the image and select “Save as Picture”. I saved mine as a JPEG.
Step 3: Head to rubberstamps.net
Step 4: Pick your size, I chose 1″x1″
Step 5: Upload image
Step 6: Place order
Step 7: Use the stamp!
- Custom stamp from Rubberstamps.net ($11.90 with shipping)
- Hole Punch
- Kraft Reinforcement Stickers from Carmelos Etsy Shop ($3.78)
- “Chloe” Yellow Floral Patterned Paper ($12.95, 10-pack)
- Twine, Michaels ($2.29)
- Archival Ink Jumbo Black Stamp Pad, Michaels ($9ish with 40% off coupon)
Can you believe the stamp only cost $11.90!?!?!
Makes me want to have stamps for EVERYTHING, the options are limitless 😉
Love always, Arianna the Wandering Pipette
